I’ve just updated my shop with several items including this autumnal scarf, buy here! I blended oranges, greens and browns to create this scarf, perfect for the cooler weather that seems to be fast approaching. I used a Gothic Cross weaving pattern, this pattern is shown in detail below.

Here’s a photo of the beautiful Glenlee on the Clyde yesterday. Although the weather was very cold and a little snowy people did venture out to see me at the craft fair on board. Sadly today the craft fair was cancelled due to heavy snow. My next craft fair is in two weeks time – 11th/12th December at Merchant Square but in the meantime I will be putting lovely things on to my shop – keep checking here.

I decided to make a simple striped scarf to try out colour blends. Each stripe has three colours and will be a great reference for future colour experiments.

As the summer ends I’m getting ready to make some lovely new scarves. This was my first experiment keeping to autumnal colours.

I’ve finally had the time to get back to my wonderful Schacht Baby Wolf – happy happy happy.

I decided to make a scarf for myself in ‘Shielagh colours’ using the new yarn I got in America. I’m also making the blocks more like squares rather than rectangles.
I have also started designing my next scarf, using the same structure but adjusting the column widths. I am going to need to make some samples experimenting with the variations I can create. Lots to do!
